As part of the #OpolskieOddycha campaign at the turn of 2021/2022, Multiserwis funded 30 Airly air quality sensors with an annual subscription and 30 air purifiers for schools and kindergartens in Opole. After the subscription period expired, it was extended for another year.

Why it is worthwhile to educate on air quality monitors for schools?

The Airly sensor monitors the level of particulate matter pollution (PM1, PM2.5, PM10) 24 hours a day in the immediate vicinity of schools. Thanks to the campaign, parents, the local community and authorities received the necessary knowledge about the quality of air that students breathe, and above all about the course of its pollution depending on the time of day.

  • Education among the youngest and raising awareness about the causes and effects of air pollution is the first step towards a future without smog. We are very pleased that companies such as Multiserwis are taking responsible actions by providing up-to-date data on air quality to school communities from the Opole region – says Marcin Gnat, Head of Marketing & PR at Airly;
  • The #OpolskieOddycha program is important to us for many reasons. Firstly, taking care of the environment is a permanent part of our strategy, and secondly, we believe that only joint actions bring the best results. We are aware that the industry is responsible for over 30% of global CO2 emissions, which is why we see the need to invest in ecological solutions. One of them is the installation and insulation of various types of industrial filters that eliminate pollution. We work with clients from many industries, supporting them in their daily struggle for a clean environment. On the other hand, we believe that the future, apart from ecological solutions, can change education of the youngest, hence the idea for the #OpolskieOddycha program – says the President of the Management Board and CEO of Multiserwis, Michał Lewicki.
