If we have a doubt, where to go on vacation in the era of coronavirus and difficulties in traveling to other countries, a holiday spent in the Romanian seaside is a very good proposition, the coastal regions can boast the cleanest air in all of Romania.
Air quality in Romania
Airly analyzed the regions of Romania in terms of air pollution and the conclusions leave no doubt. The coastal regions of Constanta and Tulcea are cities with the cleanest air in Romania. On average, PM concentrations in the two regions mentioned are 30% lower than in the rest of the country. Interestingly, during the winter months, air pollution in Constanta and Tulcea is usually three times lower than in the rest of the country. This information should be valuable for all people struggling with diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, including asthmatics who go to the Black Sea can reduce the risk of malaise and health problems.
– The proximity to the sea makes the Romanian coast the safest region of the country when it comes to clean air. It is worth taking this information into account when planning your vacation – says Marcin Gnat, PR & Communication Manager at Airly. To conduct the study, Airly in Romania used data from its 173 air quality sensors to monitor pollutants 24 hours a day. Five of these devices are located by the Romanian sea.
