The commune and the city of Nisko launched 10 Airly air monitoring stations throughout its area. As part of the network, residents can check the emission of PM1, PM2.5, PM10 dust, emission of gases: nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, but also check the current temperature, humidity, pressure and wind strength. All data is available on the Airly online map and in the mobile application on Google Play, AppStore and AppGallery, which each resident will be able to download to their own phone. Residents can check at any time their Nisko air pollution map.

In addition, 11 LED boards have been installed, on which the measurement results from a given point are displayed. One of the LED boards is installed on the UGiM Nisko building, and the measurement results from all sensors installed in the Commune and the City of Nisko are alternately displayed there. The initiative was co-financed by the Norway Grants. With over 4,000 active air quality sensors, Airly provides air quality monitoring solutions to several hundred local governments in Poland.
