There are 40 air quality monitors installed in Opole. Thanks to the Airly Data Platform for monitoring air quality measurements, as the head of the Department of Environmental Protection Planning and Financing in the Department of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of the Opole City Hall, I am able to analyze in which city locations the levels of pollution are exceeded most often. The platform serves us primarily to assess the actions taken - including subsidies granted to change the method of heating. Thanks to the possibility of obtaining data from individual sensors for a given period, it is possible to easily analyze the trend of changes in air quality for a given location. The platform, thanks to its intuitive interface, facilitates work with analyzing data from sensors.
I use the Airly Data Platform to monitor air quality measurements in the city of Toruń based on 50 Airly sensors. The platform is intuitive and easy to use. The graphics are friendly and visually nice. It allows you to obtain a wide range of statistical data from the beginning of the launch of the platform, which is useful for assessing the state of air pollution, an interesting feature is displaying the pollution forecast for the next day. In addition to the state of pollution, it shows meteorological data on an ongoing basis. The platform raises the interest of the city's inhabitants, which affects awareness of the state of air pollution and fulfills an educational role.
As a manager of the Łódź Regional Air Monitoring Network, I use the Airly Data Platform for monitoring air quality measurements from 90 Airly sensors. The Airly solution is intuitive and suitable for professionals who need to perform advanced analyzes of air pollution for selected locations and discover measurement trends and sources of pollution. The data elicited from the platform allows me easily share the results of analysis with marchal leaders and decide what actions should be taken for air pollution reduction.
It is a promising next step for us today to be able to launch the Air Pollution Sensors project with Airly as this will help us create further awareness across our communities of how the air pollution situation is progressing. Now it is time for us all to think about changes we can make to create a difference, as individuals and as organisations.
