ScaleUp
Scale UP is the first competition under the government programme Start In Poland. The aim is to combine the potential of amateur, creative entrepreneurs with the infrastructure, experience and resources of large corporations, including state-owned companies.
Airly, qualified to participate in the first edition of the KPT ScaleUp programme, implemented by the Kraków Technology Park, as one of 11 companies working on innovations for the industry and smart city.
The aim of the acceleration is to develop communication technology in the devices we produce. GSM was chosen, which effectively allows the devices to communicate with the server infrastructure. Therefore, the aim of the project is to develop an electronic board and redesign the device based on GSM technology, and produce a series of prototype devices in cooperation with a large company, Fideltronik. This allows the solution to be tested with potential customers and implemented in companies.
“In January 2017, Airly, in partnership with Investor, Wojciech Burkot, obtained a loan from the Loan Fund for Innovation Support of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The financial resources will be allocated for the implementation of an innovative undertaking called “The innovative project”; Building a network of air quality sensors”.
The aim of the project is to improve the awareness of the threat of air pollution by creating an AI-calibrated system for providing information on air pollution, based on intelligent communicating sensors monitoring air quality in real time.
Adopted technological process allows for effective and cheap production of devices, of the quality comparable to portable dust meters, at the price of 20 thousand PLN; or even extensive research stations, valued at PLN 1. 5 million per unit, and their simple installation in public places. This combination makes it possible to build a dense network of devices collecting air quality data, and to autocalibrate the system.
